MetalCraft Marine has a number of unique barge designs that can meet some of the toughest challenges for high load efficient work platforms. MCM has the engineering backup to maximize a payload and match a propulsion system that will provide high speed or optimum fuel economy
MetalCraft offers four different barge hull designs,
A flat-bottom Sea Truck, where hull efficiencies are designed around max payloads and lifting options. Designs available from 24’ to 36’.
The Bullnose, a deep ‘V’ high speed, high wave, pick up truck on the water that drives like a boat not a barge. Designs available from 20’ to 34’.
The St. Lawrence Barge is a shallow ‘V’ high speed, high load barge designed for planing speeds in full load condition. It is easily driven on plane with very low horsepower ratings. Designs available from 30’ to 65’.
The Polar Barge is a catamaran barge in fixed or collapsible configurations. It is designed for planing or displacement operation and can provide a variety of speed and high load solutions with a wide range of power selections. Designs available from 24’ to 65’.
